PAHS bands, choirs to present
holiday concert next week

The PAMS (grades 6-8) and PAHS (grades 9-12) bands and the PAHS choirs (mixed, pops, and treble) will present a joint holiday concert in the school auditorium on Monday, Dec. 18, at 7:30 p.m.

The band concert, originally scheduled for Monday, Dec. 11, will feature Christmas standards, said director Ken Vork, including "Sleigh Ride," "Carol of the Bells," and a medley from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" by the middle school band. The high school band's main piece will be a Hanukkah song called "The Eighth Candle."

The PAHS choirs also will sing holiday tunes, including "Let It Snow!," "Believe" (from The Polar Express), and "Ring Christmas Bells."

Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students with activity passes accepted. Parents of middle school students will get free tickets for this concert.
