Kotschevar joins Hennepin Parks

Anthony Kotschevar Anthony Kotschevar of St. Martin started as an officer at the Suburban Hennepin Regional Park District in October.

The park district is located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis and includes more than 26,000 acres. The primary responsibilities of park police are to provide for the public's safety and for the protection of natural resources.

Kotschevar served as a park service officer for the past three summers. He earned an associate's degree in law enforcement from Alexandria Technical College.

Kotschevar, the son of Jim and Mary Kay Kotschevar of St. Martin, is a 1997 graduate of Albany High School and attended St. John's University for two years.

An avid horseback rider, Kotschevar looks forward to joining the mounted patrol as part of his duties.
