Not guilty pleas entered by Mages family

Ron, Diane, and Jason Mages made their initial court appearance in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis on Thursday, Nov. 4, and entered pleas of not guilty to Magistrate J. Earl Cudd, according to the United States Attorney's office.

Ron and Diane Mages were indicted on more than 40 counts of bankruptcy fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, and money laundering by a federal grand jury in October. At the same time, Jason Mages was charged with two counts of engaging in a monetary transaction in criminally derived property.

After their initial court appearance, all three were released on a signature bond for $25,000 apiece, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. A tentative trial date has been set for Monday, Dec. 20. Their trial date could be postponed due to the court schedule.
