The five candidates running for the Paynesville Area School Boared were elected to office on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Out of the more than 3,000 eligible voters, only 350 cast ballots.

Elected to four-year terms were incumbents: Gretchen O'Fallon, 320; Maurice Dosdall, 269; and Pat Flanders, 264.

Elected to their first two-year terms were: Dan Andersen, 271; Bob See, 253; Paul Larsen, 76. Larson had declared himself ineligible because he had moved out of the school district.

There were 28 write-in votes. The new members will take office in January.
