Second curbside leaf pickup next Monday

The city of Paynesville will have a second curbside leaf pick-up on Monday, Nov. 7. Residents should have their leaves bagged and on the curb by 7 a.m.

Again this year, city residents are prohibited from burning their leaves. Instead, they will either need to use a leaf pick-up - the first curbside pick-up was held in October - or they should bring their leaves to the city's compost site, located on Co. Rd. 33 east of town between the city sewer ponds and Highway 23. The compost site will be open on Saturday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
