"I checked the St. Cloud newspaper on Tuesday (Oct. 10) and saw that I had won," said Peschong. "My heart rate went up a little bit."

Knowing that it is possible for more than one ticket to match all five numbers, Peschong asked a lottery retailer how many tickets matched all five numbers for that drawing. "She told me two and that each won approximately $80,000. I thought, 'I'll take it!' " said Peschong.

Peschong's ticket matched the winning numbers of 15-20-25-29-31. She purchased the winning ticket at Hilltop Stop, located on Highway 55, in Paynesville.

The other $80,139 jackpot prize winner from the Oct. 9 drawing was claimed by Gregg Bestgen of St. Joseph.

To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching all five numbers wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching two, three, or four of the numbers drawn daily.
