Township board considers ordinance on accessory buildings

By Bonnie Jo Hanson

The Paynesville Township Board of Supervisors took the following actions at their meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 12. Their meeting was held a day later than usual due to Monday, Oct. 11, being Columbus Day.

*The board approved two conditional-use permits for accessory buildings without a primary residence. The permits were issued to Scott Clobes and Bruce Nokleby, whose lots both are located on Breezewood Road at the west end of Lake Koronis. Both Clobes and Knokleby intend to build their primary residence in the near future. These conditional-use permits are good for a period of two years.

*The board set a public hearing to amend the township's ordinance dealing with issuing conditional-use permits to construct an accessory structure before the construction of a primary residence or structure for Monday, Nov. 15, at 7:15 p.m.

*The board set an easement hearing for Gary Swenson for Monday, Oct. 25, at 8:15 p.m. Swenson wants to install a holding tank on his property on Old Lake Road. The tank needs to be located too close to the road right-of-way.
