Seed salesman starts at Cenex

By Bonnie Jo Hanson

K.C. Gregg K.C. Gregg began working for the Paynesville Farmer's Union as a forage production specialist in September. He will split his time between Paynesville and the Upsala Co-op. With a background in nutrition, he will work primarily with alfalfa and corn silage seed sales, servicing existing and new customers.

Gregg is a South Dakota native and a graduate of Mitchell Technical Institute, where he earned an associate degree in agri-business, and of South Dakota State University, where he majored in agricultural education. He is still active in his family's cattle ranch in central South Dakota.

Gregg decided to settle in Paynesville. He's getting married later this month and he thinks Paynesville is a nice place to live. A high school sports fan, Gregg likes wrestling and football as well as training horses, working show cattle, and hunting.
