Kulzer Ð a 1980 graduate of PHS who now lives in Shoreview Ð earned a bachelor's degree from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota in management and finance. He joined Minnesota Life in 1990 as an assistant analyst. Prior to his promotion, he was the manager of branch operations for Securian Financial Services.

Kulzer's responsibilities include leading a team responsible for the implementation, training, branding, and ongoing support of the sales platform that supports nationwide distribution efforts.

Founded in 1980, the Minnesota Life Insurance Company serves over six million people with nearly $300 billion in life insurance and $19 billion in assets under its management. Its 4,400-member work force is headquartered in St. Paul.
