By Michael Jacobson

(Editor's Note: Twenty-two students - from Ulm, Germany - are visiting Paynesville for two weeks. They arrived on Monday, Sept. 11, and will leave for three days in Chicago on Monday, Sept. 25, before returning home to Germany.

This is the third time that a group of German students has visited PAHS. Most of the German students were visiting the United States for the first time. In addition to attending school, they made local trips (to Lake Koronis and to the golf course) and trips to the Twin Cities (to museums and to the Mall of America).

German students The Press asked them (1) why they wanted to visit the U.S., (2) what they have enjoyed about Paynesville, and (3) what has surprised them on their trip to the United States.)
