Goals the Paynesville Area School Board would like to see accomplished were officially approved at their Tuesday night meeting.
The board only set four goals for this school year. They are:
1) To continue the excess levy;
2) To encourage and financially support technology training for staff;
3) To encourage the district staff to inform the public on positive accomplishments about our school district;
4) To increase positive relationships among staff, parents, and students.

*John Janotta, high school principal, reported the high school parking lot has been painted with stripes and they have seen real positive actions from the students driving to school.

Janotta also informed the board, the district has 50 juniors and seniors with work permits this school year. Seniors are allowed to take up to two hours off from school for work and juniors one hour. Students must be in good academic standing to receive a work permit.
