Dairy Queen staff plays at dome

Employees of the Paynesville Dairy Queen spent Monday, Aug. 13 at the Metrodome playing softball for being among the top sellers of the Children's Miracle Network "Miracle Treat."

Spending the day at the dome were Tammy Christensen, Jason Leyendecker, Kelli Fenske, Tessa Miller, Katrina Orbeck, Amanda Vogelpohl, and owners Bob and Linda Westvig.

The Paynesville delegation, along with representatives from five other Dairy Queens, played softball with outpatient children from Gillette Children's Hospital and former Minnesota Twins players.

Also attending from Paynesville were Little Miss Dairy Queen Chala Hoppe and Dennis the Menace Look-a-Like Dalton Stang. Chala's family - Michelle, Kevin and Cassandra Hoppe - also went along.
