School registration to be held next week

Student registration for all grades in the Paynesville Area Public Schools will be held in the high school cafeteria on Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Parents and students can pick up their class schedule, pay fees for food service, athletics, and other activities, and ask questions regarding bus transportation, and ask health-related questions.

Students who are new to the district are asked to call their respective school office - elementary school (K-5) at 243-3725 and secondary school (6-12) at 243-3761 - and make an appointment to register when school staff have more time than at registration.

An open house for students and parents will be held on Thursday, Aug. 31. The open house will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Paynesville Area Elementary School; from 5:30 to 6 p.m. for sixth graders and new students at Paynesville Area Middle School and Paynesville Area High School; and from 6 to 8 p.m. for other secondary school students.
