No, Swyter will tell her children about bicycling across the state - over 300 miles in five days. And, she may add, if the kids are whining about dishes, this was all before I was a sixth-grader.
Two weeks ago, Swyter and her father, Dennis, and 1,478 other Minnesotans rode their bicycles from Pipestone to Red Wing in The Ride Across Minnesota (TRAM) for Multiple Sclerosis, or MS.
With the exception of one hilly day, the 300-plus mile trip wasn't too difficult, Swyter said.
The riders were required to collect money for MS before they participated. This year, they donated nearly $500,000.
