Crystal Hills to celebrate
75th anniversary next week

Crystal Hills Assembly - located four miles southeast of Paynesville on Highway 55 - will celebrate its diamond jubilee (75th anniversary) on Saturday, Aug. 12, and Sunday, Aug. 13.

On Saturday, a picnic will be held at the church at 5 p.m. with a worship service at 6:30 p.m.

On Sunday, fellowship will start at 9 a.m. with a worship service at 10:30 a.m. A potluck will be held starting at 12:15 p.m. followed by a homecoming concert at 2 p.m. Desserts will be served at 3:30 p.m.

Crystal Hills Assembly - originally called Paynesville Gospel Tabernacle - was established in 1931 as a home missions church. The first service was held in city hall. A historical memory book and 75th commemorative historical newspaper are being published, and archived items from the 75 years of ministry of the church will be on display during the weekend.
