Former Miss Paynesville competes on talent show |

Angela Fox, a 1994 PAHS graduate and the 1993 Miss Paynesville, is one of 30 contestants on the WB23's talent show, "Gimme the Mike! Minnesota." The show intends to find Minnesota's next singing sensation. The kickoff show, featuring all 30 contestants, aired on Sunday, July 18, and the first competitive episode, featuring Fox, aired on Tuesday, July 20. An encore airing of the episode featuring Fox will be broadcast on WB23 on Thursday, July 22, at 9 p.m. on KMWB-TV. After the preliminary episodes on WB23, the finals will be broadcast on Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 9 p.m. Fox, who grew up in Paynesville, is now a music coordinator, choir director, and music teacher.
