Malingen Mark Malingen is the new president at the Community First National Bank in Paynesville. He comes to Paynesville from the company's Fergus Falls branch. Malingen succeeds Kevin Paintner, who was named corporate vice president and area manager for their Arizona affiliates.

Malingen has nearly 20 years of financial service experience and previously held positions with Norwest, First Bank, and American Federal Bank.

A graduate of Moorhead State University, Malingen said he believes in customer service. His goals are to get to know the community and area. "The bank has an experienced staff and I will guide them when needed," he said.

He and his wife, Stephanie, will be moving to Paynesville at the end of July. He has been active in Ducks Unlimited and Rotary. Malingen lists his interests as hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
