Dickhaus seeks re-election

Henry Dickhaus, Melrose, recently announced his re-election bid for the fifth District Stearns County Commissioner seat. He has served on the board for 20 years.

Dickhaus, a retired milk hauler, was first elected in 1974 and served until 1986. He regained his seat in 1990 and is running for another four-year term on the board. He is currently chairman of the Stearns County Commissioner Board.

"I enjoy what I'm doing. I'm in good shape, and I need something to do," Dickhaus said of his bid for re-election.
