"The calculations involved in the development of this budget may need some adjustments as we proceed through the course of the school year," he told the board.
Caldwell explained the budget process will be different next year as the transportation and capital expenditure funds are now all part of the general fund. In the past, they were kept separately. "I feel the new process is going to be more difficult to comprehend and won't be as clear," he added.
