Town and Country Days are June 14 -19

"Fun in the Sun" is the theme for Town and Country Days, June 14 to 19. Action will get underway Thursday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. with a four-team baseball tournament. The finals will be played Saturday afternoon. On Saturday, June 15, the annual tennis tournament will start at 9 a.m. at the high school courts. Anyone interested in competing should contact Lee Landsteiner, 320-243-3781, to register.

Also on Saturday, will be a 10K run and a two-mile fun run. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at Veteran's Park on Lake Koronis. For more information on the race, call Jay Thompson, 320-243-3887.

On Saturday at noon, is the annual Peeper's Family Picnic at the Gazebo Park. A picnic meal will be served. Payment for the meal is an item for the Paynesville FoodShelf. From 1 to 3, Betty Wolf and the Deutschmeisters will perform. Games and prizes for the kids will be ongoing all afternoon.
