T&C Days to be held from June 14-18

Paynesville's annual community celebration - Town and Country Days - will be held from Saturday, June 14, to Wednesday, June 18. On Saturday, June 14, the annual road run will be held around Lake Koronis. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, with the races starting at 9 a.m. On Sunday, June 15, the Peeper's Picnic will be held in the Gazebo Park on Washburne Avenue from noon to 2 p.m., followed by the Little Miss Dairy Queen and Little Mr. Dairy Queen coronation at 2:30 p.m.

On Monday, June 16, the Miss Paynesville pageant will be held starting at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.

The annual pet show will be held at Washburne Court on Tuesday, June 17, at 9:30 a.m. At noon, the carnival (Sam's Amusements) and food booths open on the downtown streets. The annual kiddie parade will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., registration starting at 1:30 p.m., with the parade running from Washburne Court to the Koronis Manor. On Tuesday evening, the kiddie tractor pull and a quilt auction will be held on James Street.

On Wednesday afternoon, the carnival and food booths will operate again, and Town and Country Days will conclude with the grand parade on Wednesday, June 18, starting at 7 p.m. The parade will follow the same route again this year, starting downtown, running past the elementary school, and ending at St. Louis Catholic Church.
