Rohe competing for Miss Teen Minneapolis title

Rohe Stephanie Theresa Rohe, Richmond, was recently selected to participate in National's 1999 Miss Teen Minneapolis pageant competition that will take place on June 20.

Rohe submitted an application and took part in an interview session that was conducted by Thomas DiPaula, pageant coordinator, on May 8.

Rohe will be competing for her share of over $20,000 in scholarships, prizes, and gifts that will be distributed to contestants. She will be competing in the Miss Teen division, one of five divisions that will have young ladies between the ages of 7 and 23 competing in modeling rountines, which include casual wear and formal wear. She will also be displaying her personality and interviewing skills while interviewing with a judging panel. Personality is the number one aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of competition. Rohe lists as her interests, horses, ceramics, and dancing.

A senior at Paynesville Area High School, she is the daughter of Don Rohe, Richmond.
