PAHS's Class of 2004 to graduate on Sunday

The Class of 2004 from Paynesville Area High School will graduate on Sunday, June 6. Ninety-nine seniors will receive their diplomas at the ceremony at 2 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

Along with the presentation of diplomas, the ceremony will include the awarding of scholarships, the senior address by Melissa Andrie and Sami Tierney, and performances by the band and choir.

The Class of 2004 has 41 honor students who will graduate wearing gold cords. Graduating Summa Cum Laude (grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 and above) are: Andrie, Rachel Hanson, Adam Ingalsbe, Eric Roos, Anthony Schlangen, Tierney, and Angela Wunsch.

Graduating Magna Cum Laude (GPA between 3.5 and 3.8) are: Holly Bennett, Maureen Flanders, Jordan Haag, Cahlean Klenke, Aaron Nietfeld, Heidi Olmscheid, Amy Roberg, Peggy Thompson, and Jessica Virant.

Graduating with Cum Laude honors (GPA between 3.0 and 3.5) are: Andrew Ainsley, Troy Buermann, Derek Burris, Brittany Caldwell, Callie Frieler, Heather Fuchs, Matthew Gardner, Amanda Glenz, Kevin Hemmesch, Bridgette Johnson, Adam Kampsen, Tyler Kochmann, Alicia Kohnen, Brian Korman, Scott Millner, Robert O'Fallon, Jessica Paul, Jonathan Scheierl, Peter Schreifels, Timothy Schrupp, Jena Spaulding, Chad Stang, Amanda Stelling, Jennifer Terres, and Kayla Welle.

Students belonging to the National Honor Society - recognizing them for their leadership, scholastic ability, and service - are: Andrie, Bennett, Flanders, Fuchs, Glenz, Hanson, Ingalsbe, Johnson, Klenke, Korman, O'Fallon, Roberg, Roos, Schreifels, Stang, Thompson, Tierney, Virant, Welle, and Wunsch.

Baccalaureate was held for the Class of 2004 on Sunday, May 23.
