Paynesville students have been busy rehearsing a comedy/mystery. They will present "Death by Chocolate" on Friday and Saturday, May 22 and 23 at 8 p.m. in the elementary school gym.Cast members include Scott and Amber Ingalsbe, Becky Gardner, Ryan Lang, Lauren and Erin Vork, Mackenzie Merrill, Ryan Flanders, Doug Marthaler and Josh Ryan.
The play takes place at Meadowbrook Health Resort owned by Lady Riverdale (Erin Vork). The original owner commits suicide and Lady Riverdale takes over the resort. She hires a new manager (John Ryan). Edwina Parlor, a murder-mystery writer checks into the resort to learn more about the death of the owner and finds two people murdered from eating chocolates made at the chocolate factory owned by Lady Riverdale.
The play is under the direction of Ken Vork.
