In exploratories, students explore options

Trap shooting, candy making, sign language, golf, and woodcrafts were only a few of the exploratories the Paynesville Area Middle School students learned about on Wednesday, April 29.

This was the second year the students took half a day to explore new areas. Twenty-four areas were offered. Among them were:

• Basics of fishing
• American sign language
• Sports card collecting
• Trap shooting
• Biking on the Spicer Bike Trail
• Make your own bean bag chair
• Chocolate candy making
• Training and use of hunting dogs
• Styrofoam quilt wall hanging
• Introduction to horse care and horseback riding
• Golf
• Aqua-aerobics at the Country Inn
• Spring sidewalk chalk drawings
