The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency recently recognized outstanding performance by operators of wastewater treatment plants around the state at the 63rd Annual Wastewater Operations Seminar in Bloomington.Accepting the award for the city of Paynesville were Bob Wander and Lee Schleper (center) . Lieutenant Governor Mae Schunk (at right) and MPCA Assistant Commissioner Gordon Wegwart (at left) presented the certificates and commended the winners for their outstanding efforts to help protect and preserve Minnesota's water resources.
