Burning restrictions take effect in Stearns

Spring burning restrictions went into effect in Stearns County, as well as 17 other Minnesota counties, on Friday, April 7, at 8 a.m.

The burning restrictions are expected to last four to six weeks.

As of Tuesday, April 11, no burning restrictions had been announced for Kandiyohi or Meeker counties.
