DQ owners celebrate 35 years
Robert and Linda Westvig - holding a plaque from Dairy Queen - recently celebrated 35 years as Dairy Queen owners. The couple purchased a Dairy Queen in Minneapolis in 1968 and purchased the Dairy Queen in Paynesville in 1972. The Westvigs estimate that through the years they have had close to 400 employees - mostly high school students.
