PAHS choirs give concert

The PAHS Mixed Choir (9-12 boys, 11-12 girls), the PAHS Treble Choir (9-10 girls), and the PAHS Treble Pops Choir (voluntary ensemble) gave a spring concert on Tuesday, March 28, in the school auditorium. (The PAHS Mixed Pops Choir did not perform due to illnesses.)

PAHS Mixed Choir Several senior soloists - including "Best of Site" winners Caitlin Lien and Lindsey Pelton - also performed.

The PAHS Mixed Choir - directed by Cheryl Bungum, accompanied by Kari Schumacher - sings "If Music Be the Food of Love" at their concert on Tuesday, March 28. Choir members are, from left: Becky Leyendecker, Jen Moburg, Emily Lindeman, Ashley Atkinson, Kayla Nelson, Harrison Fangmeier, Dugan Flanders, Shawn Reinke, Bryce Fischbach, Jared Eickhoff, and Gilbert Lopez.

This week, the PAHS Mixed Choir and the PAHS Treble Choir will compete at the large-group music contest on Thursday, April 6, at New London-Spicer High School. The PAHS Treble Choir will perform at 3:45 p.m. in the choir room at NL-S High school, and the PAHS Mixed Choir at 4:35 p.m. in the choir room.

The PAHS Band will perform at 6:45 p.m. in the gymnasium. The publicc may attend this competition.
