Stephanie Hoeft, Paynesville, was selected as a youth delegate by the Jurisdictional United Nations Youth Pilgrimage Committee on March 23.

Hoeft will join Ryan Lang on the United Nation's 50th anniversary tour. Lang will represent the Paynesville Odd Fellow and Rebekah Lodges.

The two will participate in a 10-day tour to New York City from June 28 to July 8. The Minnesota delegation, along with youth delegates from all over the world, will have an opportunity to discover and discuss United Nation efforts and plans for the future.

Lang, a junior, is the son of Keith and Paula Lang. Hoeft, a sophomore, is the daughter of Jerry and Melody Hoeft, all of Paynesville.

"We are very proud of Ryan and Stephanie for their achievements, and it is our hope that the youth pilgrimage will truly be..."an opportunity of a lifetime!" Kim Kruger, youth committee chair, said.
