FCCLA students to state
Senior Erica Wander (at left) and ninth grader Natalie Frank (at right) competed at the regional Future Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) conference at Dawson on Monday, March 7, and qualified to compete at the state conference. Frank competed in eating disorders, and Wander in team volunteers. Both are excited to go to the state conference, which will be held in Bloomington, Minn., from April 28-30.
About 200 students competed at the regional conference and about 2,500 students are expected at state, said local FCCLA advisor Karen Odberg.
