Once again the Grace United Methodist Church will be hosting its Lenten soup and sandwich lunch-eons.

This is the fourth year for the lucheons where a religious message is delivered along with a light meal. "The luncheons are our Lenten offering for the community, providing a time for fellowship and reflection during the Lenten season," said Linda Jensen, director of family ministries at Grace.

The luncheons are being held every Wednesday during Lent. The music is presented in the sanctuary at noon with the luncheon following at 12:20 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

The first luncheon was held Wednesday, Feb. 28, with Doug and Art Voss, Karen Theel, and Pastor Ric Koehn providing the music.

Dave and Clarice Stumo will provide the music at today's luncheon, March 7.

The Lenten schedule is as follows: March 14, Pastor Dave Nelson of Paynesville Lutheran Church will sing and play guitar; March 21, Paula Geier will present an organ recital; March 28, a hymn sing with those attending selecting the songs; and April 4, the String O' Pearls.

The public is welcome to attend. A free will donation covers the cost of the luncheon.
