Speech team competes in first meet |

The PAHS speech team competed in their first meet of the 2006 season on Saturday at Sauk Rapids-Rice. With over 24 school competing, senior Caitlin Lien placed first in informative speech on her topic of bioterrorism. Junior Erica Geurts received honorable mention honors in creative expression for her speech that presents a twist on Greek mythology with Zeus fighting with his spouse about his lifestyle. This week, the speech team will travel to Swanville on Saturday. Next week, they will host their home meet on Saturday, Feb. 18.
