Coast to Coast will become Ace Hardware

With TruServe eliminating two brands (Coast to Coast and ServiStar) from their product line by March 1, Brad and Harriette Connor, Paynesville, decided now was the time to make the change to Ace Hardware. Their new name will be Ace Hardware and Home Center.

"We heard in September that changes were coming," Harriette said. "We care about our customers and we want to provide them merchandise they want and can use. We want to be competitive with the other national brands."

The Connors will gradually be replacing the Coast to Coast line of merchandise with Ace merchandise. "The Ace merchandise appears to be a better product and costs less," Harriette added, "giving the customer a better overall value."

Brad said Ace will be a national brand with prices that people can live with. "Coast to Coast has been in Paynesville more than 20 years and we want to be able to continue meeting the needs of our customers," Brad said. "We feel we fit the 'Ace' slogan as being the helpful hardware store."

"Not only will we continue to provide the value Coast to Coast has given the community over the years, but we feel it will be greatly enhanced." Harriette added.

The change to Ace will be official on March 1.
